3. How can I find the book I’m looking for on the website?

We provide two main ways you can find the product you’re looking for—searching and browsing.

Searching: You can search for products using keywords contained in the product’s title or description.

Browsing: You can also filter products by topic and/or content level to browse the available titles.

5. Can I order a book that I don't see at the Bookstore?

Yes, we would be happy to order in any book you are looking for. Add it to your wishlist and we will contact you once it is available.

6. What if the book I am looking for is not in stock?

If we do not have the book, have one of our staff members in-store or our team process a reserve request for you. Once the book arrives, we’ll call you and send an e-mail and hold the book at the store with your name on it for a week.

7. Can I add products to my cart without an account?

To ensure your shopping cart keeps your products even if you decide not to check out during the same visit, we require that you login before you add your item to your cart.

8. I made a mistake on my online order, how can I change it?

9. Do you ever have sales or specials?

We do on occasion run sales during special seasons when you can save up to 20% on selected books, classics, novels and bestsellers.

10. When can I pick up my order, if I select the "Pick Up Order at Bookstore" option?

Online orders are ready for pick up 2-3 business days after your order is placed and will be held for 30 days. We will attempt to contact you at the phone number and email address you provided us if your order has not been picked up by this time. After this time, any unclaimed purchases will either be recycled or reabsorbed into inventory without a refund.

11. What if I can’t make it into the store during your hours of operation?

If you need to make a purchase and can’t make it to the store please give us a call. We can guide you through the payment process and arrange for you to pick up your purchase or mail it out to you.

12. What if I find a book cheaper somewhere else?

We can match the price in many cases, read about our book price matching policy here*.

13. Do you ship internationally?

Absolutely! We do ship to international destinations, but transit times are longer, as much as three to four weeks, subject to various country import restrictions. The customer may be subject to import duties and taxes.

Unfortunately, this website cannot generate international shipping quotes.  If you'd like to have your books shipped outside of Sri lanka, please email us with your address, a contact phone number, and a list of the books you need.  We will provide a shipping quote for you. At that point, we will need to confirm credit card details. If you can't call us on our contact number during business hours, let us know through email and we can make alternate arrangements.

14. How do you calculate shipping charges within Sri Lanka?

Shipping charges within Sri Lanka are calculated based on the order weight.

15. How do you calculate international shipping charges?

Due to the many shipping options available and the vast number of countries we service, large orders may result in multiple packages that may not be calculated properly with our matrix. In those rare instances, a member of our sales team may reach out to you to get approval on a higher shipping fee before your order is shipped.

17. When can I expect my order?

We ship the same business day as receiving a completed order, depending on product availability. If we are missing information, we may need to follow up with you directly which could cause delays. Please see Sri Lanka Post delivery standards for your expected delivery time (

18. How long does an order take for delivery?

Express private postal service reaches within 2 working days. All other regular orders take approx. 3 – 4 business days for delivery, depending on location.

19. What forms of payment do you accept?

20. How can I tell if my order was successful?

Once you have submitted your payment information, you will receive a confirmation page indicating that your order was successful. You will also receive a confirmation email outlining your purchase.

21. How do I make changes to or cancel an order once it has been submitted?
